New Novel Release

 Historical Fiction

Sub genre: western/thriller/adventure

Cover oil painting by Angela Talks To Ravens Maffatt, Woodland Cherokee
Note: it is rare for a publisher to accept an author's request for cover art; for many reasons
they prefer to develop their own.  But, the publisher felt that in this case the artist
had so accurately captured the essence of the protagonist that its use was warranted.

"David Walks-as-Bear delivers all the action and suspense you could ever want,
but beyond that there is so much wisdom in everything he writes.  And so much humanity.
In a world of pretenders, David Walks-as-Bear is the real thing."
