The 'Taste of White Lake' Event: David will be at this event where chefs, cooks and gourmets galore, will be cooking up their house specialties, and attendees get to sample these numerous varieties of scrumptious foods. It's an indoor/outdoor event a street fair. Everything from hamburgers to steak to seafood will be on-hand. Makers of ethnicities like Italian, Mexican, and others will be showing off their culinary skills. And topping it off, there will even be mouth-watering deserts, all prepared by local restaurateurs. There will also be Michigan-made beers and wines available. But that's not all. David met his wife there on June 24, 1974, when she was working as a teen cashier at the concession stand. The movie being shown is "Easy Rider" with Peter Fonda and Dennis Hopper. It is arguably the best 'bike' movie ever made. This film is also the first 'big movie' break for a young Jack Nicholson. There will be a beverage tent, food, live music, games, prizes and a bonfire.
